As of Sunday, a total of 7,929 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Saskatchewan.
One thousand and ninety-eight of these doses were administered Saturday including 220 in Regina, 112 in Saskatoon, 110 in Prince Albert, 559 in the Far North East zone and 97 in the North East zone. Some vaccinations that took place yesterday in the province’s north may not have been reported yet.
This brings the totals to 2,069 Pfizer doses and 1,008 second doses in the Regina pilot program; 2,793 Pfizer doses in Saskatoon; 476 Pfizer doses in Prince Albert; 596 Moderna doses in the Far North West zone; 81 Moderna doses in the Far North Central zone; 809 Moderna doses in the Far North East zone; and 97 Moderna doses in the North East zone.
Complete COVID-19 statistics for Sunday have been delayed due to an unexpected, one-day staffing issue. Full details will be included in tomorrow’s numbers.
There are 307 new cases of COVID-19 to report in Saskatchewan on Sunday, bringing the provincial total to 18,110 cases.
One hundred and eighty-seven people are in hospital. One hundred and fifty-six people are receiving inpatient care. Thirty-one people are in intensive care.
There are no new deaths to report.
There were 3,222 COVID-19 tests processed in Saskatchewan on Saturday.
