Around 1:30 Sunday afternoon, Moose Jaw Police, Fire and EMS were dispatched to a two vehicle collision in the area of the Highway 2 Overpass and the Trans Canada Highway.

A southbound vehicle struck the guard rail and launched off the roadway, landing on the westbound lanes of the Number 1 Highway. The vehicle was then struck by a semi.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries. The driver of the semi was treated by EMS on scene and released.

Collision Reconstructions continue to investigate the cause. Damage is estimated at $60 000.
