It appears as though Micah Johnson is closer yet to making a return to the Saskatchewan Roughriders’ line-up for Sunday’s Labour Day Weekend Classic match-up against visiting Winnipeg.

“Better. He looked a lot better (Thursday),” said Riders’ head coach Craig Dickenson about Johnson following a closed practice at Mosaic Stadium. “We’ll see. It’ll be a game-time decision, but he looked a lot better. It looks like he’s moving around more like the old Micah. So, we’ll see what happens (Friday at practice), but he looked a lot better.”

Kick-off time Sunday is 1 o’clock on T-S-N.
