Today (Sat) is the day that a world record could be broken in Saskatoon. You may notice some chalk art along Meewasin Trail for the attempt to break the world record for the longest sidewalk chalk mural, and it’s got to all be connected as one discernible picture.
Spokesperson Amy Wall says there are 6 sections over 6 kilometres of the trail and if you are taking part, the theme is to reflect what you seen in and around the Meewasin Valley, including its plants, scenery, the animals, activities and landmarks.
It begins at 10 this morning and continues until 5. The previous world record is 5.7 kilometres.
