A championship team from Ontario will unleash its pyrotechnic show in Saturday night’s finale at the Nutrien Fireworks Festival.
The group from Garden City will have rock music accompanying its light show beginning at about 9:30.
There is a long list of events including an attempt at breaking the Guinness World record for the longest chalk mural.
Festival President Shad Ali says there are a couple of different focal points thoughout the day.
“All the cultural entertainment is on the amphitheater stage at River Landing and the food trucks and so on are the Traffic Bridge itself, so people will be able to walk through there and kind of get a different view of things as well.”
On Friday, an international championship team from the Philippines lit up the skies over Saskatoon.
