The Saskatchewan Health Authority has declared an outbreak at École Forest Grove School.
Saskatoon Public Schools says Classes at the school will continue as scheduled.
To date, École Forest Grove School has had four positive cases of COVID-19, the most recent coming on January 17. One classroom remains in isolation. An outbreak was previously declared at the school on December 8th but was lifted on January 9th.
This weekend, the school division has had positive cases in Centennial Collegiate, Holliston School, Mount Royal Collegiate, North Park Wilson, and École Henry Kelsey.
Grater Saskatoon Catholic Schools has been told by the Saskatchewan Health Authority of a positive case in an individual at each of St. Nicholas Catholic School and St. Augustine School. Risk of exposure for anyone not considered a close contact remains low.
The affected classes will switch to online instruction starting Monday.
Certain cohorts and classes at Holy Cross High School and St Joseph High School will switch to online instruction Monday, after positive COVID-19 tests last week.
The Greater Catholic School Division confirmed the cases had been reported by the Saskatchewan Health Authority on Friday.
Risk of exposure for anyone not considered a close contact was said to be low.
