Baseball Saskatoon has a May 17 start date in mind for the 2021 minor baseball season in the city.

With that, the Baseball Saskatoon website (www.baseballsaskatoon.com) will be taking minor baseball registrations as of Monday for all zones…Cardinals, Braves, Blue Jays and A’s as well as the Royals for girls. Of course, this is all dependent on provincial novel coronavirus Public Health Orders being relaxed by the time the snow melts. In the past, minor baseball in Saskatoon has started around May 1 with try-outs being held indoors in March at the Gordie Howe Sports Complex. Last year, try-outs were held outdoors in late April, early May because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
