The Saskatoon Police Service says the Drug Unit seized almost 60 grams of cocaine, 3 cell phones, a meth pipe and $970 in cash on Thursday morning in a parking lot in the 2300 block of 8th Street East.
Officers observed two women driving an making stops that were consistent with drug trafficking, so a traffic stop was initiated in the parking lot.
A search warrant was then executed at a home in the 200 block of 3rd Street East and office report seizing around 515 grams of met, 145 grams of cocaine, a scale , drug packaging and paraphernalia.
Two women, 38 and 24 years old are facing drug trafficking related charges and the 24 year old also facing charges of failing to abide by court orders.
In a separate investigation, Saskatoon Police conducted two search warrants early this morning (Fri) and it’s alleged multiple types of drugs were seized including 7 grams of psilocybin, which is also known as magic mushrooms, marijuana, cannabis-infused honey, butane hash oil, CBD oil and edibles.
The first location was an apartment in the 2300 block of Hanover Avenue in the Queen Elizabeth neighbourhood.
Police also allege seizing four long-barreled funs, over 1,000 rounds of ammunition, a conducted energy weapon, and three sets of brass knuckles.
A 23 year old man is facing firearm and drug-related charges.
Then, a search warrant was executed at a hotel suite on Highway 11 and Floral Road where police says 21 grams of THC in 21 jars, 13 bottles of THC distillate and a cutting agent were seized along with a truck.
A 57 year old man is facing two charges under the Cannabis Act.
