It was a sight many people weren’t expecting in September, a funnel cloud that produced a tornado warning northeast of Regina yesterday afternoon [mon]. A severe thunderstorm developed near Lumsden just after 5:00 which created the funnel cloud that, right now, is not believed to have ever touched down. Meteorologist Shannon Moodie says, with the right conditions, weather like that can occur in September and is more common than many think.
