If you like your winters long, and cold with lots of snow, you’re going to love this forecast. The Canadian Farmers Almanac says that’s what’s in store for Saskatchewan, with temperatures dipping to minus 40 and the warmer weather staying away until the middle or latter part of March. Editor Peter Geiger says the fall will be wet and cool; less than ideal for fall harvest. He says we can expect rain throughout September and into October. Looking ahead, Geiger says: wet spring and hot, humid summer.
