The premier dismissed calls from both sides of residents who want to see either the economy open up or tighten up COVID-19 restrictions.
Scott Moe says it’s easy for people to say there needs to be more measures, but he says he is going to continue taking COVID-19 suggestions from the chief medical health officer.
Moe says more restrictions would involve shutting down businesses, schools, and the youth athletics that remain, resulting in tremendous impacts to mental health and other areas.
He says there is no evidence to support shutting down any of those sectors at this time.
