Investigators with the Serious Assault Unit are searching for three suspects following an assault on a man Wednesday afternoon.
Just after one o’clock, patrol officers were sent to house on the 100 block of Avenue R North for a report of an injured person. They found a 52-year-old man suffering from serious but not life-threatening injuries and taken to hospital. It was reported that three suspects forced their way into the home and struck the man with a blunt object. The suspects fled in a four-door, burgundy-coloured car after robbing the victim of some belongings. The suspects and victim are believed to be known to each other.
The suspects are described as all being 20 to 30-year-old males, one of which is tall and slim, the second, much shorter with a brush cut and the third was wearing a long braid. Two of the suspects were wearing bandanas over their faces.
Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact Saskatoon Police or Crime Stoppers.
