Jasper Alberta RCMP, along with Parks Canada, and Emergency Medical Services responded to a report of a 70-year-old man from Edmonton, who had accidentally fallen during an ice climb in Maligne Canyon Wednesday afternoon.
Efforts to provide first aide by bystanders were unsuccessful and the man died at the scene. A helicopter was brought in to airlift the victim from the Canyon.
