SASKATOON, SK — The Saskatoon Blades have signed 2002 born forward Josh
Paulhus, adding him to the active roster ahead of the 2020-21 regular season.
Paulhus, born and raised in Saskatoon, joins the Blades having spent most of his
junior hockey career in the SJHL, along with playing time with the Regina Pats. In
42 games with the Humboldt Broncos last season, the rookie winger tallied 4 goals
and 9 assists for 13 points, while adding 77 penalty minutes.
Paulhus also skated in 3 games with the Pats last season, recording his first career
WHL goal on January 17th on the road against the Seattle Thunderbirds. He began
the 2020-21 season with the La Ronge Ice Wolves, but only dressed in one game
before the season was halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
As a 2002-born player, the 18-year-old has two more years of WHL eligibility
remaining.

Raiders Sign Kyle Crosbie and Logan Danis
Prince Albert, SK – The Prince Albert Raiders have signed 2001-born forward Kyle Crosbie and 2002-born forward Logan Danis.
Both players will be joining the Raiders in the WHL’s East Division Hub Centre.
Crosbie was selected in the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft by the Kelowna Rockets. The Didsbury, AB product was acquired by the Moose Jaw Warriors in November of 2019. During the 2019-20, he had five goals and seven assists in 51 games.
Listed at 5’8 and 163 lbs, he is a veteran of 116 games split between the Rockets and the Warriors. Crosbie has posted 12 goals and 11 assists in his WHL career.
Danis joined the Winnipeg ICE prior too the 2019-20 season. Hailing from Winnipeg, MB, he scored once and added three assists in 25 games in the WHL.
Standing at 5’7 and weighing 159 lbs, Danis joined the MJHL’s Winnipeg Blues for the second half of the season. He had nine goals and six assists in 26 games at the Junior A level.
The Raiders are back in action in the WHL’s East Division Hub Centre, will begin play on March 12 in Regina.

Millar accepts new role with Hockey Canada
The Moose Jaw Warriors Board of Directors has announced that Alan Millar will be stepping down as the hockey club’s General Manager after accepting the position of Director of Player Personnel within Hockey Canada’s Program of Excellence.
“This is both an exciting and difficult day for my wife Kelly and I. Our 10 years in Moose Jaw have been very special to us both professionally and personally. We have met so many wonderful people in our time here that will be lifelong friends,” said Millar.
“I would like to thank Chad Taylor, Bob Dougall and the Warriors Board of Directors for their outstanding support. It has been first class,” Millar added. “This team is in good hands with a bright future, surrounded by a great staff. Thank you for all your hard work and friendship. Thank-you to the great Warriors fans and corporate partners. You are the best in the CHL. Finally, thank-you Moose Jaw, we have great memories and will miss you.”

Millar joined the Moose Jaw Warriors in 2010 when he was named Director of Hockey Operations, he was named General Manager in 2012. Under Millar, the Warriors won East Division titles in 2012 and 2018, and they captured the 2017 – 2018 Scotty Munro Memorial Trophy. He leaves the organization as its longest-serving General Manager.
“Alan is well-versed with all levels of the Program of Excellence, and the invaluable experience he brings will make him a key addition to our staff,” said Scott Salmond, Senior Vice-President of National Teams for Hockey Canada. “He has extensive knowledge when it comes to evaluating players in the Canadian Hockey League, including the Canada-Russia Series, and for Hockey Canada’s national teams. His insight and leadership will assist us not just when it comes to athlete development, but in recognizing the athlete skill set it takes to compete on the international stage.”
Millar has worked with Hockey Canada over the past three years, overseeing the Under-20 program last year and the Under-18 program the previous two. He has a silver medal from the 2021 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship and a gold and silver medal with Canada’s National Men’s Summer Under-18 Team at the Hlinka-Gretzky Cup in 2018 and 2019.
