Regina Police say a 54 year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a homicide that occurred on the weekend in Regina. The victim, 32 year-old Justin Robert Delorme, is the third victim of homicide in Regina this year.

Around 6:30 Sunday morning, officers were sent to a residence in the 1,000 block of Garnet Street. The information received indicated there was an injured man at that address. Emergency Medical Services was also dispatched and took the man to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Investigation led to the arrest of Fifty-four year-old Charles Wayne Taypotat. He has been charged with Second-Degree Murder, and made his first appearance in Provincial on Monday.
