GraceLife church in Parkland County, Alberta continues to defy a Public Health Order limiting the number of people who can gather together indoors, due to the pandemic. On Sunday, RCMP and health officials attended the church, gathering evidence about non-compliance of the order. Police allege they once again saw too many people attending the service. The same thing was done the week before when police say again, there were too many people there. Earlier this month, the pastor, James Coates, was behind bars for not complying with release conditions from an earlier arrest after RCMP determined that his church was, again, not complying with a COVID-19 Public Health Order. Coates is to appear in court this month. These incidents with GraceLife began last December.
