The Federal and Provincial Governments have announced infrastructure projects in another 20 Saskatchewan communities.

The funding will go toward upgraded wastewater and drinking water systems in nine northern municipalities including Cumberland House, Ile-a-la-Crosse and Buffalo Narrows.

A variety of water, wastewater, waste management and road projects are earmarked for 11 southern communities including Battleford, Duck Lake, the RM of Foam Lake and Kerrobert.

Ottawa’s share totals 17.6 million dollars and the provincial government is putting up 16.8 million.
