Shortly after ten o’clock Wednesday night, the Saskatoon Fire Department received a call of a single vehicle rollover with one occupant trapped inside. The accident occurred at Highway 16 and Zimmerman Road. The first arriving engine company reported a vehicle on its roof. Fire crew stabilized it and extrication was performed by the second arriving engine and its crew. An off duty firefighter had come upon the scene prior to the department’s arrival and assisted with bystanders. The RCMP also assisted at the scene.
The one patient was turned over to ambulance personnel for care.
