Ahead of his trial which was to begin on March 15th, Devin Aldon Wesaquate pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the death of 31 year old Kevin Nataucappo.
In September of 2019, Saskatoon Police were called to a report of an injured man at a home in the 100 block of Howell Avenue.
Nataucappo was later pronounced dead in the hospital.
Four men were charged with manslaughter, assault with a weapon and break and enter.
Details about the case are under a publication ban because the other three charged, Mohamad Al-Zawahreh, Darrell Dustyhorn and Destin Mosquito, have trials scheduled to begin on March 15th, as Wesaquate’s was.
The 27 year old has been sentenced to five years, which after time served works out to almost three more years.
