Three people from the Saskatoon zone who tested positive for COVID-19 have died.
One of the deaths was a person in their fifties. Another was in their seventies and the third was over the age of eighty.
Regina had the highest number of new cases with 58, followed by Saskatoon at 34. The others are in North Central (20), Far North East (14), Central East (12), North West (10), South East (4), Far North West (4), North East (3) and single cases in the South West and Central West zones.
One hundred and forty-two people are in hospital—up four from Friday. Twenty-two people are in intensive care, an increase of two from the previous day.
There were 2,744 COVID-19 tests processed on Friday. The seven-day average of daily new cases is 155 (12.7 new cases per 100,000).
The 3,577 doses of COVID-19 vaccine reported today were administered in the following regions: North Central (967), Saskatoon (909), Regina (826), North West (821), Central East (44) and South East (10). The total number of vaccines administered in Saskatchewan stands at 90,456.
