While the Saskatoon area may see up to five centimetres of snow by Wednesday, there are several areas of the province under a snowfall warning which could bring 10 to 15 centimetres of snow.
A low pressure system will move into the region tonight, bringing heavy snowfall with it. Snow will continue until Tuesday afternoon in a band from areas east of Swift Current to Yorkton.
There is a snowfall warning in effect regions around and including: Regina, Fort Qu’appelle, Indian Head, Lumsden, Pilot Butte, Humboldt, Wynyard, Wadena, Lanigan, Foam Lake, Kamsack, Canora, Preeceville, Moose Jaw, Pense, Central Butte and Craik, Outlook, Watrous, Hanley, Imperial, Dinsmore, Swift Current, Herbert, Cabri, Kyle, Lucky Lake, Yorkton, Melville and Esterhazy.
