They are still working on a search warrant to view the pictures in the phone of a man accused of voyeurism, but police have already laid charges.

Police say, following consultation with Crown Prosecutors, a man has been charged in a voyeurism incident on September 1st.

The 25 year old accused turned himself in to police yesterday evening.

Over the noon hour Sunday, officers were sent to a gas station on the 400 block of Circle Drive East where the woman said she believed a man in the station had recorded her and four female youths using the washroom.

She alleged the male exhibited suspicious behavior prior to their using the washroom.

She told police that she saw the camera of a cellphone visible through a damaged ceiling tile.
