Just after five o’clock Friday morning, the Saskatoon Fire Department received a call of a fire in the attic at a home on Coppermine Crescent. Three occupants were instructed to evacuate. The first arriving engine reported light smoke showing. Crews extinguished the fire in the ceiling and attic space. The fire was brought under control at 5:37 a.m. There were no injuries.
The Fire Investigator has concluded it was an accidental electrical fire. Damage is pegged at $150,000 damage.
