Residents of La Ronge may have noticed an increased police presence in the town, early Saturday morning.

At around 2:30 a.m. La Ronge RCMP and the RCMP Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed a search warrant at a home on the 500 block of Struder Street in La Ronge, as part of an ongoing investigation.

There was an increased police presence in the community for several hours.  La Ronge RCMP reports the event has concluded and there is no risk to public safety and an update will be provided when more information becomes available.
