Saskatoon Public Schools is temporarily moving Lawson Heights School to Level 4 of the provincial Safe Schools Plan, following consultation with the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
The school division has been notified of two positive cases of COVID-19 at the school, and more are being investigated. The SHA previously declared an outbreak at the school on Sunday, March 14.
To date, Saskatoon Public Schools has been notified of four positive cases at the school. Students will move to online learning starting Wednesday. In-school learning is expected to resume April 12th, following the Easter break.
Since the start of the school year, Saskatoon Public Schools has had 261 positive cases at 54 locations in the division – 53 schools and the board office.
