Police in Prince Albert have detained several people following a report of a shooting in the 1000 block of 15th Street West just before 1 o’clock Thursday afternoon.

Once police arrived, they found a man who needed medical attention. He was then taken to hospital.  Officers have contained the area as they continue to investigate.  Nearby Queen Mary School is taking precautions to ensure the safety those inside.  It’s believed that there are no more suspects at large.
