Needless to say, after double digit highs to close off last week, don’t take your vehicles on the ice.
The RCMP confirm that on Saturday, the first day of spring, at 5 p.m., a vehicle went through the ice at Blackstrap Lake.
One truck was trying to get the truck that went through the ice, out, prior to the tow truck company arriving.
The tow truck operator took coordinates of where the vehicle fell through in order to recover it at another date. No one was hurt in the incident.
