Two people have been arrested after RCMP seized drugs and a firearm at a La Ronge home.

On Wednesday, RCMP executed a Controlled Drug and Substances Act search warrant at a home on Poirier Street in La Ronge.  Officers report seizing crack cocaine, a firearm, cell phone, drug paraphernalia and Canadian currency as a result.

44 year-old Sandra Isbister and 53 year-old Lloyd Nielson were arrested in the home without incident.  Both are charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime less than $5,000, careless storage of a firearm, and unauthorized possession of a firearm.

Nielson made his first court appearance Friday while Isbister will appear in La Ronge Provincial Court on Monday.
