Balancing the budget, removing the carbon tax, and implementing recall legislation. These are some of the issues the Canadian Taxpayers Federation have noted in their federal election wish list out of 19 policies. Aaron Wudrick, the federal director for CTF, says he’d like to see the parties take on these policies for their 2019 campaigns rather than see more spending ahead of Election Day. He says they are spending money we don’t have because it’s a deficit. Wudrick says the Liberals aren’t the first government to do that but they are doing it at a record pace and in record numbers. He says its a very expensive period of promises for taxpayers. The election takes places on October 21st.
