Saskatchewan’s official opposition believes more needs to be done considering the rise in COVID-19 variants in the Moose Jaw area.
NDP Health Critic Vicki Mowat suggests the government is ignoring the warning signs, after having seen something similar in Regina.
Mowat says you can see the cost of inaction by looking at the numbers in Regina and the number of hospital admissions and ICU beds dedicated to COVID-19 patients in that city.
She adds that schools in Moose Jaw have moved to online learning, but the government is keeping bars and restaurants open.
