Saskatchewan residents are being urged to keep Easter celebrations safe.  The province suggests making gatherings virtual and keep your Easter egg hunt to your immediate household only.

With the exception of the Regina region, private indoor gatherings must be from two to three consistent households and cannot exceed 10 people. For the city of Regina and area, all indoor private gatherings are limited to immediate households only. And individuals who live alone as well as single parents of minor children are allowed to meet with one consistent household with less than five people.  All served food should be plated by a single person or consider having individual portions delivered from a restaurant or caterer. The person handling food and drink needs to wear a mask.

These rules apply to Regina and its bedroom communities: restaurants and licensed establishments are closed to in person service and a reminder for places of worship that, unlike elsewhere in the province, they have to maintain the current restriction of a maximum capacity of 30 people.

Travel is not recommended in or out of Regina and Moose Jaw and surrounding areas. Cases of COVID-19 variants of concern are also on the rise in Moose Jaw at this time.
