The Saskatchewan Federation of Labour has a wish list for the provincial budget, which is to be presented Tuesday.
President Lori Johb says at the top of the list of priorities is job creation.
She says the government needs to find a way to create jobs for all of the people who have been out of work for so long, and that in turn helps our economy.
Some of the other things the SFL would like to see is paid sick days for all workers and introducing a $15 an hour minimum wage.
Johb says with COVID-19 taking such a toll on workers who were already struggling, this is the right time to make a significant investment for working people.
