There are 10 charges each for two people arrested in connection to a Saskatoon Police traffic stop of a suspicious vehicle.
Officers noticed what was described as a suspicious vehicle parked in the 900 block of Avenue P North on Friday night. When they approached and were speaking to the man and woman in the vehicle, it’s alleged machetes were seen inside. Police also seized a sawed-off shot gun, ammunition and meth.
A 24 year old man and 23 year old woman are facing 6 firearms-related charges each, 2 counts of possession of a dangerous weapon, possession of meth and breach of probation.

Saskatoon Police tried to stop a truck being driven erratically near 33rd Street West and Avenue D North around 2 Saturday morning, so the Air Support Unit stepped in to help.
The police plane directed officers on the ground to an apartment complex in the 100 block of St. Lawrence Court in the River Heights area. Before the suspect was able to get inside, officers arrested a man without incident. Police say he had bear spray.
It was confirmed the truck had been stolen from Kindersley and had the wrong plate on it. A 35 year old man is facing numerous charges including dangerous driving, evading police and possession of stolen property over and under $5-thousand.
