The first day of Saskatoon’s drive thru COVID-19 immunization clinic reached capacity by 10 a.m. on Monday. There were enough cars already in the queue to keep health care workers busy administering vaccinations until the intended 4:30 p.m. closing time.

The drive-thru clinic opened at 7:30 a.m. to reports of more reasonable numbers of vehicles. Until the vaccine supply is exhausted the drive-thru clinic at Prairieland Park will be open from 7:30 a.m. until 10:30 p.m. daily.

There was also a drive thru clinic scheduled for today (Tues) in Warman at the Warman Fire Hall. That clinic is from 8:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m.

Both clinics are administering the AstraZeneca vaccine and the clinics are only open to those 55 years of age and older. The drive-thru sites are on a first-come, first served basis.
