COVID-19 vaccine booking eligibility is expanding to those 55 years and older in the province. This is when you go on line or phone to book an appointment at a clinic in your area. The COVID-19 drive thru vaccination site in Regina, where there is the majority of Variants of Concern, will now be for residents ages 53 and 54, with possible changes to age ranges as demand allows in the coming days.

The Health Minister says shifting vaccine to expand eligible age group for the Regina drive thru clinic will help in driving down variant of concern transmission in Regina and area. For residents elsewhere in the province the eligibility age at drive thru vaccination clinics remains at 55 and up.

At 8 a.m. Friday, Saskatchewan’s booking system eligibility will expand to all individuals 55 and older. Those individuals can book online or by phone at 1-833-SASKVAX.

You must book by phone if you are a resident 50 years of age and older living in the Northern Saskatchewan Administration District, all remaining phase one health care workers, group homes and shelters and people with underlying health conditions who are clinical extremely vulnerable, through an eligibility letter.
