A 24 year old Asquith man has been sentenced for possession of child pornography and voyeurism after an investigation by the Saskatchewan Child Exploitation Unit.
In November of last year, members of the ICE Unit and officers from the Warman RCMP Detachment executed a search warrant at a home in Asquith, where cell phones and a laptop were seized.
Police were acting on information they received that in July, 2020, a 24-year-old man had been in possession of child pornography and intimate photos of a woman he had taken without her knowledge.
Elmir Drincic, is sentenced to 12 months in jail, a DNA order, and his name is added to the sex offender registry.
