It began with Saskatoon Police noticing a suspicious vehicle leaving a home in the early morning hours on Thursday and ended with numerous people facing charges.
Police say a traffic stop was conducted near 22nd Street and Avenue Y South.
It’s alleged a man had an imitation gun, bear spray and a knife.
It’s also alleged one woman provided false identification and was found with meth.
She and another woman had outstanding arrest warrants.
Then, a home search was executed in the 300 block of Avenue R South by the Guns and Gangs and Tactical Support Units.
Police report a loaded, sawed-off rifle and ammunition were seized, leading to four people facing numerous firearms charges.
