The Saskatchewan RCMP reports that a 23 year old man escaped custody today (Mon)around noon. Chris Ernest was in the Meadow Lake courthouse when he fled.

Police say he was in court to address charges which include resisting arrest, assault with a weapon, and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public. RCMP consider Ernest to be dangerous, so he shouldn’t be approached. He may be on his way to the Waterhen Lake First Nation.
