Thanks to a tip on April 29, two occupants of a vehicle carrying a large quantity of alcohol were arrested and their cargo seized by R-C-M-P.

The Black Lake detachment was alerted to the vehicle passing through La Ronge and heading for Black Lake. Upon locating and stopping the vehicle, R-C-M-P found alcohol in plain sight in the vehicle…76, 750 millilitre bottles of whiskey, two, 1.75 litre bottles of whiskey, a 30-pack of beer and a 24-pack of twisted tea (pictured). The two occupants of the vehicle were charged with Bootlegging under the Alcohol and Gaming Regulation Act.
