Prince Albert Police say they responded to 498 calls between Friday and Monday and those calls ranged from Assault with a Weapon and Wilful Damage to Assault a Police Officer.

Friday morning at 5:40 a.m. patrol officers located a vehicle that matched a stolen vehicle description and when they initiated a traffic stop, the female driver drove directly into the police car and then reportedly put the vehicle in reverse and hit another police cruiser. A 19 year old woman faces numerous charges including two counts of assaulting a police officer. No one was hurt.

Sunday night , police responded to a report of a break and enter in progress in the 200 block of 15th Street East. A 42 year old man was located inside the compound, arrested and charged.

And on Monday afternoon, Prince Albert Police received a report that a woman had threatened staff with a knife shortly after 4 p.m. Staff at the business say the threats began after they confronted a woman for allegedly shop lifting. A 43 year old woman was charged.
