Saskatchewan people know what has to be done, if things that we took for granted at one time, are to return,

That is the opinion of Saskatoon intensive care specialist Dr. Hassan Masri who says the government’s three step reopening plan is a good one for a variety of reasons and is one that other jurisdictions in Europe and the US have done.

Masri says it seems as if people are doing what has been asked of them as we look to put the pandemic in the rear-view window.

He says, if you look at the numbers, in almost all age groups, we are performing as number one, two or three in the country in terms of vaccinations .

Masri says you can count on the people of Saskatchewan to follow the science, do their part, and to ensure that they are part of the solution.

Masri urges those who haven’t had a shot yet to do so and that those who can get vaccinated do it as quickly as possible when their turn comes up. He says one thing that could derail the plan is if people get complacent, feeling the end is close.
