The search is over. Shortly after 9 a.m. today(Monday) Saskatchewan RCMP officers from the Wynyard, Wadena and Punnichy RCMP Detachments located Stephanie Bruch and Kelly Baht walking down Highway #35 south of Bankend. They are described as being “safe and sound”.

RCMP had issued a news release asking for the public’s help in locating the Regina woman whom it was believed was the subject of a possible abduction. Late Saturday night, Regina Police Service received a report about a concerning message sent on Facebook from 30-year-old Stephanie Bruch, before she disappeared.

Police quickly identified a suspect and a suspect vehicle which was found abandoned Sunday afternoon in a field off Highway 10 near Ituna. RCMP had advised the public to contact 911 if either the suspect, Kelly Baht, or Stephanie Bruch were spotted.

RCMP say the investigation is ongoing and updates will be provided as soon as they are available.
