The Province is reminding residents to be diligent no matter where your travel may take you. Public health urges Saskatchewan people to ensure any travel both within the province and inter-provincially is for essential purposes only. Health officials also suggest that if interprovincial travel is necessary, please be aware of the risk of transmission in those jurisdictions, the public health orders that are in effect there, and then plan to be tested immediately upon returning home. Last Sunday, Premier Scott Moe announced that 71 per cent of people over the age of 40 have now been vaccinated which meant part of the criteria set by the provincial government had been met in order to move to Phase 1 of the Re-open Saskatchewan plan. The date for that has been set tentatively for May 30th. The other part was vaccination eligibility would be for anyone 18 and older in the province which Saskatchewan is inching closer to with the eligibility as of Saturday at 23 and older.
