Saskatoon Police say they responded to a Freedom Rally at the Vimy Memorial on Saturday afternoon and put traffic restrictions in place. Police were reminding contemplating attendance at the rally, that they could face charges for violating the Public Health Act. The police service also says they are continuing the balancing act of ensuring the safety of the community at large and protecting the rights of people to express an opinion. As well, police plan to continue the investigation into the rally after the event wrapped up.
