Several Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools have seen new COVID-19 infections.
On Friday, the Saskatchewan Health Authority found positive cases at St. Kateri Tekakwitha, St. Michael Community, and École St. Gerard Schools.
On Saturday there were two cases in individuals at Holy Trinity Catholic School in Warman and a positive case at St Augustine School in Humboldt.
The SHA also found a positive case in an individual at each of St. Mary’s Wellness and Education Centre, and St. Thérèse of Lisieux Catholic School.
Affected classes are moving to online learning. St. Mary’s will switch to Level 4, online learning.
The SHA is recommending that all close contacts get tested but reports risk of exposure for anyone not considered a close contact remains low.
