Saskatoon Public Schools is temporarily moving Saskatoon Misbah School to Level 4 of the provincial Safe Schools Plan following consultation with the board and administration of the School as well as the Saskatchewan Health Authority.
Students will move to remote learning as of Tuesday. In-school learning is expected to resume Monday, June 7.
Saskatoon Misbah School, a Saskatoon Public Schools’ associate school, has three active cases of COVID-19 variants of concern.
Since the start of the school year, Saskatoon Public Schools has had 360 positive cases of COVID-19 at 58 locations in the division.

Some classes at Saskatoon schools will move to online earning this week after positive COVID-19 tests during the weekend.

On Friday, officials from the Saskatchewan Health Authority informed the Greater Saskatoon Catholic School of a positive COVID-19 case in an individual at Bethlehem Catholic High School. Then on Sunday a case was confirmed at St. Augustine school. Another case was found in an individual at École St. Peter School that is being investigated as a variant of concern.

The SHA is recommending close contacts get tested, but say risk of exposure for anyone not considered a close contact remains low.
