What initially began as a vehicle/pedestrian accident has turned into a homicide investigation. Both Prince Albert Police and Parkland Ambulance responded to the call to the 900 block of 17th Street West on Saturday. However it was determined the victim, 44 year old Norman Charles Custer, died of a gunshot wound; there was no evidence he was struck by a vehicle.

Police continue to investigate and ask that anyone with information about this homicide contact them or Crime Stoppers.
