Two more citizen complaints and two more tickets issued by Regina Police in recent days in relation to violations of the province’s Public Health Orders issued to curb the spread of COVID-19.

The first complaint was received at about 11:17 p.m. Friday because of a noisy gathering at a private residence in the 3200 block of Green Bank Road. The complaints included vehicles parked in handicap stalls plus screaming and fighting at the address. Police found the homeowner and several other people who didn’t live at the address. The homeowner was ticketed for participating in a private gathering with more than the number of people allowed by the Public Health Order. The second complaint and infraction in Regina occurred Tuesday when police went to a residence in the 1700 block of Quebec Street and found the homeowner and others who didn’t live there. The resident was issued a Summary Offence for hosting a private gathering with people who didn’t live there.
