A Cumberland House woman was to make a court appearance Tuesday following a stabbing incident Sunday in the North East Saskatchewan community.
Twenty-two year-old Payton Crate was arrested Sunday by Cumberland House R-C-M-P in a residence on Cook Avenue following an investigation into a complaint that an adult female had been stabbed at a different Cook Avenue residence at about 8:30 a.m. Crate was charged with aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and failing to comply with a release order condition. The victim was treated by E-M-S on the scene and later transported to hospital.
