Derek Keenan is making sure the offensive part of the game of lacrosse is looked after for the Saskatchewan Rush.
The G-M of the National Lacrosse League franchise announced Tuesday morning that the Rush have signed high-scoring forward Robert Church to a two-year contract…pending league approval. Church’s signing is the second by Saskatchewan since the franchise changed ownership two weeks ago with the Priestner Sports Corporation acquiring it from the Urban family. As is the case with the first signing of Mark Matthews to a three-year deal last week, the signing of Church keeps a former first round draft pick and career member of the Rush with the team.
